After this gesture of high diplomatic significance, the two interlocutors reviewed the level of cooperation between ECCAS and UNICEF, which are bound by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). They then explored avenues for more dynamic cooperation, bearing in mind the progress already made and the concrete activities to be carried out on the ground.

The files to be dealt with are numerous and diverse, of course, but there is no shortage of them.

Ambassadors Noël Marie Zagré and Gilberto Da Piédade Verissimo deplored the negative impact caused by the advent of COVID-19 on the effective implementation of the strategic and annual plans adopted by the two partners.
