This meeting also gave the new Commissioners of ECCAS the opportunity to discuss the five strategic axes which structure the vision of the subregional organization : – Environment and rural development; – Regional infrastructure and links; – Gender, human and social development; – Political cooperation, peace and security; – Economic and financial integration. UNOCA and ECCAS agreed on the need to continue thinking in order to strengthen the partnership in these respective areas.
