Angola deposited its instruments of ratification

Libreville (Gabonese Rep.), August 25, 2020-The Republic of Angola has deposited its instruments of ratification of the revised Treaty of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) at the headquarters of ECCAS.
The symbolic act was taken by the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola in the Gabonese Republic, Cameroon and Chad, Her Excellency Madame Lizeth N. Satumbo Pena. Angola becomes the 9th country to deposit its instruments of ratification.
The Secretary General of ECCAS and the Angolan diplomat welcomed the importance that ECCAS member states attach to the successful completion of the Institutional Reform process and the implementation of the resulting Decisions. The two interlocutors welcomed the arrival of almost all of the commissioners, headed by the President of the ECCAS Commission, His Excellency Gilberto Da Piedade VERISSIMO.
The Secretary General of ECCAS carried out the handover program between the outgoing management team of the ECCAS Secretariat General Aand that of the ECCAS commission set up by the Heads of State and Government on July 30, 2020 during their 17th ordinary session held by videoconference. The program takes place in a cordial and understanding atmosphere.
